I believe that people drinking soda early in the morning, even with the excuse of it being caffeinated should seriously question their eating and drinking habits.
A Red Bull contains enough sugar for the average guy to run 6 miles. If you don't plan to run 6 miles within a short time, there is no real reason to drink such awful beverages.
I'm no doctor though, consider this is an uneducated common sense opinion.
I'm rather old school, I like black coffee.
Sad part is that I need almost the same amount of sugar in a Red Bull to be able to tolerate the taste of coffee.

So, instead of waiting, adding sugar, and then muddling through a cup of coffee, I just crack open a can.

Considering it's my primary unhealthy vice, one can a day isn't much to worry about.

If you guys just want the energy and its not really about the morning cuppa ritual, try fresh fruit and some high-fibre, low-GI cereals and grains. The sugar you get in a can of Red Bull will give you an energy 'spike' and then drop fast - a recipe for diabetes after a while - whereas what you probably need is slower release energy from 'good' carbohydrates.

No argument there, for me it's got little to do with the energy, and MUCH more to do with the beautiful flavor.
It, to me is truly the nectar of the gods.
I don't know why I love the taste so much, but man, there is NOTHING comparable to the taste of a fresh ice cold Red Bull as soon as I open my eyes. It's heaven in a can.

Just talking about it makes me want one now.
I decided today to no longer drink any after 4pm.
It's 8:30pm and I might cave in.
I need my fix. :D
