What Color Is Your Bass???

Current bass conklin 7 is clear finish over ash and flamed maple. Past basses include a thumb 5 nt, thumb 5bo, corvette FNA all of which were all raw wood with waxed finish. I had a warwick corvette that was stained black no clear coat, a matte black custom musicman 5 with tortoise shell pickgaurd, and black hardware, black p bass with a pearl white pickgaurd, and a ibanez 5 in transparent red. Never been real picky about The body finish. having no clear coat does make a bass more high maintenance which got old. My picky thing is that I prefer basses to have necks with no finish because I like smooth feel over the "sticky" feel of finished necks.
