What color should I paint my Flea RW?

Well I went for it, and I'm glad I did. I went with @SpeakerBoxxx 's suggestion of Antique Pelham blue. I bought a can of that color nitro and clear coat from Oxford and went to work. It took a good amount of time spraying, waiting, spraying, waiting, sanding, and finally polishing, but after that last polish I was blown away at my newly refinished Flea jazz bass. The best part is it was so messed up before hand that whatever I did was going to be an improvement. I didn't bother with sanding out the previous imperfections etc... Just went right over the pink. on the back of the guitar bottom I got a bit sand happy and went through to the pink, which looks awesome IMO. I look forward to more wear developing as I play the snot out of it. Thanks for the input y'all. Check it out!

WOW! That looks great... and with the tort pickguard, even better. I've been wanting to do this exact color pickguard combo for quite a while, so this settles it! My next refinish or build is going to be this! This one will definitely get better with age as well! Awesome job!

Bro thanks for the suggestion! and the pink underneath is dope. I was tempted to sand some other spots, but I'm going to earn them the old fashioned way.

Burgundy Mist, Sherwood Green, Aztec Gold or literally of the period correct custom colors in the way you wanted or strip it down and oil it( either a honey color or a bit darker tone to it) Thats what i would do to it. Maybe a different pick guard, but that is a whole different thread.
