What color should I paint my Flea RW?

What is up talkbass massive? Happy 4th to you. I recently scored a deal on a loaded flea road worn body. It was super cheap but took some work to clean and set up. The previous owner covered it in permanent marker and the only thing that took it off was some light sanding. The previous owner also gave it extra relic'ing and took off a lot of the gorgeous pink finish. He also drew on the wood with the sharpie. With some elbow grease I was able to get her back to normal somewhat, but I feel like the road worn look is pretty crazy. It feels like stolen valor. Love the bass and want to keep it, so I'm thinking a paint job is in order. It would be cool to do a light nitro coat over the pink and when it wears it will have a little pink underneath. I'm having trouble picking a good color though. Thoughts on a new color? Here are some pics of the rescue mission.

Daphne blue. The queen of color. Add metal flake if you like.

I would either

Totally strip it and repaint it pink, or

Do a little sanding of the upper horn so the "relicing" is a bit more natural, and play the !$^$@@ of it.

Sonic Blue, Daphne Blue, or Surf Green... something either with enough yellowed top coat or faded enough to look like something in between?

Maybe Fiesta Red--that's what my Jazz is, and my avatar.

How about a proper faded Shell Pink? That is, minus, IMO, Fender's sort of lame stenciled sig series relic stuff. That's really the one thing that always put me off of that Flea sig.

BTW, if anyone is spraying lacquer, particularly for colors, I highly recommend Oxford Supply, based in Windsor, Ontario. They ship to U.S. states just fine.

For sanding sealer, vinyl sealer, and clear top I recommend Mohawk. Mohawk clear gloss String Instrument Lacquer if you want a more flexible and durable finish or Finisher's Choice which is formulated for furniture makers, which is a harder finish more amenable to checking if that's what you want.

Truth told I liked it as you received it. You took most of the original design off. I would leave it as is and finish the build. The tattoos are part of the bass' journey.
