What color should I paint my Flea RW?

A proper Candy Apple Red would look super tight IMO

Wy did you take off the sharpie design. Might as well remove the pink. Painting some else will work if it is something other than pink or something darker Some sort of magenta burst?
I'm all for a creative art project on a guitar, but it looked to me like someone might have gotten a little tipsy and just randomly drew designs on it. Too chaotic for my tastes these days.
I can play it shirtless and it will be completely camouflaged ....hmmmmm

Did you try rubbing alcohol on the Sharpie drawing? Sharpie and other markers are alcohol based inks.
It's a nitro finish so no alcohol for this axe. I did try goo gone and the dry erase marker trick but that ink was on there good. I grabbed a magic eraser then a sanding sponge. Those both did the job.
The colour Irish Ale from the G&L tribute line is possibly my favourite bass colour.

I kind of like it as is, now. But you've got it to a place where you can pick your favourite solid colour, and it will look great.
FWIW, on many glossy surfaces, you can remove permanent marker by tracing over it in non-permanent marker, and it will wipe off - I kid you not.
I'd pull it all the way down and clean the pots etc: then I'd finish cleaning the body and leave it alone. If you must, ( clear coat over the body after you finish clean up) in a satin clear, then leave it alone. I wouldn't even paint it.
