What color should I paint this bass?

I used automotive paint I got at Sherman Williams. They can put almost any color in a rattle can. It's enamel so it's going to be soft for a while. It cost me $14 for the color paint.
The paint store recommended clear coat with urethane. All the urethane in the rattle cans said it may turn amber. I went with enamel.
Primed and wet sanded with 400 grit. Filled in blemishes with automotive filler and reprimed and sanded. Next time I think I will use a wood sanding sealer first.
Color coat, not sanding the color coat, then clear. Best to let the clear dry two to four weeks. Wet sanded the clear with 800, 1000, and 2000. Compound, polished and waxed with Megruiar's car product. Of course Mr. No Patience did not wait that long.
I wished it was that easy. I went through the clear a couple of time through the color coat. Had to spot spray and re clear.
I sanded in between clear coats which I won't do again unless I have dust in it or a run.
I painted a previous bass with automotive enamel. The guitar stand left marks on the paint months later. I have a 1X2 board secured to the base of my guitar stand with a blunt screw sticking up. I put the strap button on the screw to keep the paint off the stand for now.

This is the best finishing I've seen. I learned the hard way--I can't clear coat at home or at all. It's very difficult.
I saw a guy put on the clear epoxy so thick then shave it down later thereby removing top layer of dust etc. So that's how they get it perfect
