I lived and worked there for a number of years.
Being in Canada the consensus is usually Cleveland is a poor choice of city but I found it to be very nice. Loved the Metro Parks , University Circle, Playhouse Square, and the Flats.
West Side Market was fantastic!
And of course Lake Erie.
Yep, everyone says it sucks until they spend a few days and then it becomes, “I love Cleveland. I could easily live there”.

(Kirk, your avatar): I'm from the future.

The future is not a... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:... continent.

I have no idea what I'm talking about, and describing it probably didn't help my cause...

... on a high note, 'Amok Time' is on, where Spock gets his horn-dog on...

IIRC Kirk grew up the American Midwest before joining Starfleet. So North America. Which is a continent.

Interesting question. I’d also like to know where everyone’s roots are from (1 or 2 generations). My parents and grand parents are from northern Spain. I was born in Manhattan, NYC. Not that it means anything at all, but we’re all descendants of somewhere.

my father's family greek for many generations back and before that unknown.

my mother's family half from poland, half from alsace-lorraine, which is now part germany and part france, i believe.

i was born in santa monica, california.
