Good deal, glad he's still kickin'. I was just listening to the FBB at the Avalon Ballroom.
You must have been thinking of a farmer... a man outstanding in his field.I was wrong to think he was out standing, in his field... I gather from the pic, he most surely is sitting.
Truth.I learned that no matter how crappy things are going for you, someone else has something crappier going on with them
Always remember - every silver lining has a dark cloud.Truth.
And when having a bad day, don't make the mistake of thinking that things couldn't get any worse, cuz they can

The one thing that always works for me when i get trapped in a series of poopy days is knowing every crappy day puts me one day closer to the next good day.Truth.

Keep at it, sport. They'll come around, eventually.Today i learned that medical offices rarely answer their phones any more. I’m having to schedule a few appointments for some tests and after the better part of a full day on the phone trying to reach three different offices to schedule an appointment, i never once talked to a living person. Everything was a series of shuffles through an electronic menu with no choice for talking to a real person. The best i could do at all three places was leave a message telling them i needed to set an appointment but had questions before i could commit to a date so could someone please call me back. So far no reply from anyone.
One can certainly hope. A couple of them are close enough it would easier to just drop by but i’m reluctant to do that right away. Instead i’ll wait until i’m three wrong words from pulling the pin and hope some surly minion dresses me down for not doing it over the phone. Or i’ll jot a quick note to each office and drop it in the mail tomorrow if i don’t get a response by then. There’s nothing critical or time sensitive going on, it’s just measuring progress (or lack thereof) of my recovery from some procedures around this time last year so i’d need to really work up a case of self righteous indignation to be convincing if i visit in hopes of doing my three dollar act. the first option would be infinitely more satisfying, but option two will be much more likely to get me a favorable outcome. And they say old dogs can’t learn new tricks.Keep at it, sport. They'll come around, eventually.
