I learned that if I want to add a bit of top end to my sound I can adjust the treble control on my amp. 'Haven't touched it in years.

I just have one. That's the "thin fast neck". I LOVE that bass, but the other day I was playing my Hohner Steinberger knockoff, which has a fairly baseball-bat type of neck, and certain things were much easier to play.How do your Zons (you do have more than one, right?
It's probably because I have very mediocre left hand positioning
IIRC, the '97 fretless Sonus Special 5 had a flat/wide-ish neck; the '98 and '99 Sonus 5/1 (fretted and fretless) had much thicker necks.
Being in the back seat on Tahoe trips was enough for me. I miss nothing. People not taking off chains and having them explode and crack the windshield was a fun one and only time I've seen my dad full on road rage.
Wound up selling my new Ric bass back in 1973 because the neck profile was too thin.
I guess that is why they make all shapes and sizes.
Try a more modern one say from the '00 on up to just a few years ago.
I just learned 1/2 of Led Zeppelin are on the recordings of Tom Jones' early hits. I knew they were both session players, but surprised me with working with Jones. Was cool to hear Tom's Welsh accent.

I understand. I got out of the emergency unit two days ago after an overnight stay, and now the chain of medical events has started.
No emergencies here, just some endocrinological wackiness .
And here I was dreading an upcoming colonoscopy. Good luck to you and I hope any/all problems are discovered and corrected.

What's up with that? I just finished mine, along with some all-at-once oral surgery - going in for a new valve in Oct.

Too much calcium in my system. Its taken away flexibility, given me bone and joint pain, and muscle weakness.
My mobility has decreased to the point l'm not gigging.
Possible surgery coming up.

After months of waiting, we start tests tomorrow, with a " thyroid uptake scan". A little radioactive dye in the system, then they see how long it takes for the glands to process it.
I just hope it doesn't take away my heatvision.
The entrees at June’s Daybreak Cafe are large enough for two (we’re both hovering around 70)…they don’t charge for the extra plate. They also closed everything but the main entrance at Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital and even that is equipped with mags and staffed by city police…they picked up an undeclared lens wipe in my front pocket. I’m too pretty for prison.
