I feel you.

I once had a roomie who brought home a stray that left us an infestation of pubic lice when she departed a few days later. It was some days later before that fact became apparent and was a genuine PITA to get the house back to normal.

That's what developers do all the time. They build a subdivision and then name it a "landing" of some kind :- e.g. Smith's Landing, Taylor Landing etc .etc.

During her time her main residence was in First Moon Landing.....which is about thirty five miles from the pyramids. It was an easy commute though.

Yikes :eek: live and learn as you go. I learned that same lesson decades ago, so I feel your pain!

When I first had my nipples done, I quickly learned it's a bad idea to scrub the loofah sponge around my chest without doing it a bit more cautiously :unsure: One hoop somehow got snagged on the loofah, and caused me to yelp quite loudly for a about 30secs ~ it even drew a little blood :bawl: that incident hurt way more than the original piercings.

Oh, and in the old days of big telephones connected to the wall, I learned that pressing the receivers earpiece up against my fresh top cartlige piercings made them throb a bit during a convo that went on for more than 2 minutes ... As did sleeping on either side (got both ear carts done at the same time.) I still almost always keep use all the holes ... 4 on the left & 3 to the right side of my ears (1ea up tops, and the rest on the lobes) for going on 30+ years now :)

How many dudes do you know that have a belly button piercing? I don't see many, but that was my first body piecing also about 26 or so years ago that i still rock :cool:

Certainly got my money's worth out of these holes. If I accidentally leave the house without my jewelry, I feel kinda naked and muggle like :smug:

One lobe hole (3rd one up on the left) was actually done by a gal pal in a bar using her dangly earring, ice, & a safety pin :blackeye: I don't recommend going that route just to save a few bucks!

LOL Yeah I've been holding my cell very slightly away from my ear. Sleeping hasn't been too bad even though I'm a side sleeper, I've found cupping one hand under my head just above my ear protects it from getting mashed until I'm actually asleep.

And LOL You're the second guy I've talked to who has a belly button ring. Its pretty cool.

I learned about gas dryers. My wife and I bought another house earlier this year. The former owner left a newish washer and dryer when they moved out. We have been using them and last night, my wife informed me that the dryer was not heating. I tore it down and checked everyting as best I could. Nothing seemed wrong. I did a "remote check" for one possible problem by lighting the gas stove. It wouldn't light. Apparently, when I transferred the utilities, the gas wasn't transferred. We do auto pay and paperless billing, so not getting a bill was not unexpected. The gas had been turned off. There was plenty of hot water for my shower last night, so I hadn't thought to check the gas. Service will be restored tomorrow. The most obvious cause didn't seem all that obvious at the onset of the "repair."
