I have 3 of those dotted around the house, I will have to test your theory next time a wasp gets in.I actually think they're drawn to the high pitched frequency signal emitted from pressing the button...
) Sometimes I tune in to Radio Print Handicapped to get wind of what the papers are saying and this is what I heard - When you let your hearing go, some of your brain goes too.
It all makes (auditory) sense. They've discovered there is a noticeable link between early-onset cognitive loss and hearing loss. Keep your ears and you keep your wits about you. There are no amethysts in vox holes What?I listen to the radio (quite often) and, yesterday, I heard something pretty sound. (Par-din the pun

I think you get the pitcherWait, which way did the correlation run? Does hearing loss lead to cognitive capacity loss or does cognitive capacity loss lead to hearing loss? Because one certainly makes more sense than the other. I could see how cognitive ability loss (and the associated, causal decay of the brain as a whole) could lead to a sort of hearing loss, but I really doubt that losing hearing due to physical damage of the ear would lead to loss of mental capacity unless you're looking specifically at how after not hearing and decoding noises as much (or at all) how the associated parts of the brain may atrophy, but that wouldn't likely lead to any loss of cognitive ability assuming you're still exercising your brain in other ways.

I LIKE it!I wish you could just record silence and then play it on loudspeakers on full blast to make the whole room quiet.
This has me thinking. Obviously there is no way to record silence, but I'll bet a Quiet Machine is actually feasible.I wish you could just record silence and then play it on loudspeakers on full blast to make the whole room quiet.

I've heard that, so to speak. I'd like to go.I've been in the quietest room on earth by myself. I can tell you that pure silence is actually really loud. You can hear your blood pumping, every breath is emphasized.
Call Bose if you are ever in MA.I've heard that, so to speak. I'd like to go.
