My first bass was this 65 Mosrite Ventures Model that was bought new. This pic was taken a couple of years ago. It was the only bass I played until the early 90's when I started using 5-strings.

I REALLY like these. Any thoughts on the neck profile? Were there knockoffs that I could mod into a 5 string or is the cost one low enough on an original?
