What do you bring to the party

A good attitude, and a can do spirit. Go band team!
Also, I am very flexible, and will try to play a song in as many ways as possible, until the other instrumentalists are comfortable with the tempo and transitions of a song, be it original or cover.
(Semi-grammatical sentence for the win.)

Hmm, what do I bring?

-a member that's prepared and practiced the material
-as a drummer in a past life I bring a solid groove with a solid notion of tempos
-the PA
-the lights
-the knowledge to set up and run the two above items
-I sing
-prepared set lists
-manage the group's FB page
-order and carry business cards
-keep a supply of hats with the band's logo, give one away every gig
-extra cables
-a more than healthy dose of sarcasm

I'm steady and adaptable. I can play most musical styles, learn new songs quickly, etc. I can making boring parts more interesting but without becoming a lead player. I'm always on the beat and leading the chord change. I set the foundation for others to solo or embellish. Just recently, I also became the timekeeper for a drummerless project. Pretty much a traditional a bassist.
