hi i want to buy a bass and upgrade it what you think about:
pickups:dimazio model J dp123
bridge: badd ass II
squier vintage modified jazzbass 70
pikups cover:a fender like marcus miller

And what would the best thing for me keep my ibanez jumpack and upgrade it or buy a new bass ( squier vintage modified jazzbass 70)

upragde for ibanez 190 :
pickups : DiMarzio DP126 P+J Neck and Bridge Bass Pickup Set
bridge : badd ass II
pickups cover : fender chrome

what do you think... I will play funk , jazz fusion and a little bite of funk/rock and a lot of slap

if that suck can you show me what would be better

Honestly, I'd put whatever money you've got into a bass that doesn't need much upgrading. Then, after actually playing it for a good long while, I'd consider which specific components could stand to be improved. Then I would focus my thoughts on just those items that I already know for a fact need upgrading.

There is absolutely no sense in buying upgrades for a bass you've never played. It also won't save you any money, if that's what you have on your mind, because aftermarket components cost a lot more than when you buy them as part of a pre-assembled bass.

Absolute truth. And, I think you'd also be better off not modding your jumpstart bass, but rather put your money into another bass.
