A rare sighting of a bass player up front and the guitar in the back

Tell that to Geddy lol. Yeah that was a 6 piece band on a small stage and Mikey wasn't the geatest vocalist. So when the song called for harmonies Id join the other 2. Mikey would fall back on smaller stages.A rare sighting of a bass player up front and the guitar in the back![]()
Got an outdoor gig tomorrow, temp predicted to be around 100 degrees. We'll be in the shade, but still, it'll be shorts and the lightest short-sleeve shirt I can find. And wristbands and sunscreen! Gonna be a sweaty one.
Cool! I see you have a steel player. Always a nice touch. This is what I ended up wearing. Thankfully we did not hit 100 degrees. Sadly, my wife said the shirt "didn't do anything" for her. She's a little young to appreciate paisleys.

My entire life story in one image.OK I'll bite: Latest Student summer ball gig had an Alice in Wonderland theme. Everyone talked about leaning into it. I followed through. Pity I was the only oneOh well, one "Mad Hatter costume, worn once" heading to the classifieds special section

And the universe came back into balanceNot sure if the outfit was intimidating or not, but at the end of the night, BL offered to give me his cut of the tip jar.
It was jeans, T-shirt and sneakers for a long time but these days I try to not look like a punter. A nice shirt, usually black pants, boots and I've started wearing nice wide brimmed hats with colourful hat-bands.Most bands here dress casually at gigs. I typically wear jeans, a henley shirt, running (comfortable) shoes, and a hat of some kind. The rest of the band dresses similarly. We have an upcoming gig at a nearby casino (our first time there) which stipulates no jeans. And that's not a problem. I have some Old Navy black khaki type pants that I will wear that are very comfortable.
I guess I'm just curious as to what everyone wears for gigs.
