What does "CV" stand for?

Fender tries to put an instrument in your hands at whatever budget level you can afford. It’s one reason why their market share, while declining, is still in a leading position.

Something they probably learned from Ibanez who was doing that almost from day one.

It's Latin common to many countries, the English use it all the time, "I left my CV with the administrative assistant". My Schecter CV ash and rosewood 5 is the best sounding bass I have (but the Lakland Skyline is easier to play) Those PU's on the Schecter CV are fantastic. It's a cutting tone machine.

In the analog synth world CV is all the rage, it's Control Voltage there.
For chuckles do a google search for CV, it's amazing how many different valid possible acronyms there are.

It’s cause they’re usually 10+ pages with lists of publications and presentations in addition to any mentorship or society boards they serve on. I worked with one senior pulmonologist whose CV was 60 pages.

I always smirk at the marketing use of the word, "Custom", for an instrument that's produced in quantity. Not arguing with anyone here, but maybe "Contemporary" would fit better. The instruments in question are usually new, but built with certain attributes from old instruments. Just a thought.
