Well, whereas I was conceived out of wedlock, technically I am a bastard. My wife frequently calls me a bastard... usually for buying yet another bass. So, if I am a BASS buying BASTARD I figured why not mash the words together and call a spade "a spade".

Well I like to pretend to slap the bass but my name actually is from one of my Basset hounds. I have two well behaved boy bassets and then an inbred bitch that pees everywhere in my house. I've tried everything. Now I just slap her ass out the door.

Last name Climer... and I tend towards the more, uh, shall we say, "unique" side of expressing myself. If there's a way that most people are doing things, I'll do it differently. In High School, my favorite phrase was, "Why be normal?" Also, there used to be a video game called Crazy Climber. I felt the name fit, so there it is.

Since I'm usually always one of the younger people in a crowd (look 4 years older than I really am and tend to like knowing what's in store in the near future) and since I only just joined TB recently. I'll always feel like a youngster till my mid-30s I imagine. It's also paying homage to my favorite band (System of a Down). They got me into music the way I am now.

An old girlfriend and I were in the Oakland, CA airport, returning home to the east coast after flying out to see the Grateful Dead mardi gras shows in '95. It was an ungodly hour in the morning (5:00 or so) and we were both exhausted from lack of sleep as we sat waiting for the plane to board. With us both in a state that walks the fine line between consciousness and comatose, a voice came over the PA paging someone to gate 23 (or whatever number it was).

I looked at my gf and said "did she say 'Mr. Pip Peepaleep, please report to gate 23?'"

At that point we burst into laughter - not because the comment was that funny, but because we were sleep-deprived and nothing was making sense.

I can't really remember I've been a big online gamer since battlefield 2 ( not bad company the original BF2) came out many years ago. it was my gamer tag in that, and I used to stay up all night playing till I was loopy tired and would start telling it as I would run and gun.
