What does your username mean?

my guitar teacher advised me to have a go on bass just for the experience and i needed to find a cheapish bass to get started on (got a free one off my uncle in the end yay!) so basically i just thought of a name to get on the forum.... was probably listening to my ipod at the time, and, well... i like pie...
(youtube username is cherrypieforever :-P)

anyway couple of years down the line and i'm proud to call bass my main instrument...

after trombone... ahem...

Midbass is the most critical part of the bass spectrum....in the context of music playback on a nice system. (roughly 60-300hz)

When a lot of people say they want a lot of bass, it's more midbass than subbass....more musical and warm.

I consult on high end car audio....this is a hard area to get right. Even some home systems lack in this area.

Keep bassin' along folks. :)

An allusion to my other musical passion - high end home audio: I am a hi-fi guy. And that means two channels only with a room dedicated to the stereo and LP/CD racks. No home theatre guff.

And tube electronics.

Dieterich Buxtehude was a German-Danish organist and composer of the Baroque period. His organ works represent a central part of the standard organ repertoire and are frequently performed at recitals and in church services. He composed in a wide variety of vocal and instrumental idioms, and his style strongly influenced many composers, including Johann Sebastian Bach. Buxtehude, along with Heinrich Schütz, is considered today to be one of the most important German composers of the mid-Baroque.

Bach thought he was a legend. Nuff said.
