What does your username mean?

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who wonders what some TB usernames mean, and I'm pretty bored right now.

So, explain your username! I'll start: mine is pretty self-explanatory. It started out as my YouTube username, and when I came here it came with me. It means "bassist for the Lord." Haha in case you didn't know.

I'm a big fan of Tolkien. Gandalf chose the prime stallion Shadowfax from the stables of Rohan when given the choice of taking any horse. The descriptions of Shadowfax are amazing, far superior to how the horse was portrayed in the movies. My last name starts with Mac, so thus, SHADOWMAC.

POPBUMPER - the circular device on a pinball playfield that "pops"/throws the ball away from it when the ball comes in contact with it.

Have been a vintage pinball machine collector/restorer/repairman since 1998, it's the longest hobby I have ever been involved in. It pays for my other hobbies.

I have been using this as my screen name for year's. My name is Kristófer, so in Iceland I am called Krissi. So on Icelandic we put this ending on the words like if we are talking about a special tree it is:

Tréið = The tree

So my name came from that, so when you hear the name Krissinn you know that you are talking about this Krissinn, my name is like this:

Krissinn = The Krissi

Maybe I didn't explain it very well, but hell I tried

Loki, the nemesis of Thor in Norse mythology is the god of chaos and trickery. It is what I named my 8 pound Yorkshire Terrier because he thinks he is a total badass and has this huge ego/air about him and he likes to mess with the bigger dogs.

That's awesome. My mom also had a little 4.5 pound yorkie named Loki. That was an awesome little dog with HUGE attitude.

To the topic of the thread:
I've got twin boys. When they were infants, my wife and I made a caregiving schedule so that one of us was was always up for the boys. I had the overnight shift, so I spent plenty of time lurking on the web in the wee hours of the night. One night I stumbled across TB while I was looking for info on a bass I was looking to buy. I decided to sign up and gave myself a handle that is a combination of my favorite things, hence TwinBass.

I looked like Joe dirt in high school, hence Dirt. I used to play in the dirt alot on a motocross bike. They called my a little dirtdobber cause I would wind out the motor sounding like a dirtdobber in his little mud house. And 113 is my badge number.

Uncle Matt is the affectionate name given to Matsumoku, the maker of incredibly nice basses from japan. All of my basses were made at the Matsumoku factory and I am always looking for vintage instruments made by "uncle Matt "

Mine is a nickname that was given to me but stingray was already taken so I just added the "89 being it was the year I was born.
