Hey guys, I just got a sansamp bass driver DI for chirstmas and so far I love it. I'll be using it live at a gig for the first time in 2 weeks. Up until now I've just used the venues DI with no amp. I've never had any trouble hearing myself through the stage monitors so I won't be adding an amp. We're a celtic/irish band. My setup for gigs will simply be my bass into my Korg pitch black tuner into my sansamp bass driver DI into the board. I guess my question is, what else do I need or should I add? What pedals are people using that they feel no one should be with out? I don't use any distortion or anything, just looking for a nice clean tone.

I do not think you really need "other products" to sound good with that setup. You do, however, need to have some back up gear. Extra of the following: cables, picks, bass, strings, tools, batteries, and a flash light.

good advice. As long as the monitors are good you will be fine..if they arent run the out to your own amp and use it as a personal monitor
