What Else Has a Neck Length/Profile Similar to a Stingray 5?

I am wanting to pick up another bass with a neck similar to my 2002 Stingray SR5 (no, not another SR5). It is a perfect fit for me!

Tried for 3 months to bond with my 2014 American Jazz Deluxe 5, playing it exclusively for rehearsals and gigs. While it sounded fantastic, I had a really hard time reaching from fret to fret with my nubby fingers. The neck was longer and only 21 frets, compared to the 22 frets on the Stingray and shorter neck. Even the 1.85" nut width on the jazz was a bit wide for my liking.

Seems like every bass I look at has a longer neck, wider nut, and 19mm string spacing at the bridge. Parted with both of my German Warwicks because spacing was too narrow.

Any helpful thoughts would be great?

The frets are not spaced out any differently on a 34" scale bass. You have to change scale length (34.5,35,36') etc to change fret spacing.

However the string spacing makes a difference in how clubby or thin things can feel. Fender uses 19mm spacing.
A StingRay 5 has a string spacing of 17.5mm. Similar basses in that kind of feel that I know of:
G&L L2500/M2500
Bongo
Big Al
Wal 5
Ken Smith has 18mm, and feels like the above basses.
Zon uses 17mm, some models have 34" and some are 35".

You just gotta go out and try more basses!

True, but if one bass has 21 frets and another 22 (both 34"scale), wouldn't that mean there is a greater gap/space between frets on the 21 fret bass? With fewer frets you would think the 34 inches would be spread out some how, even if it is a small difference, unless I am missing something. When placing the jazz and Stingray side by side, the fret spacing seemed quite a bit bigger on the jazz especially up through the first 7 or so frets, but maybe I was trippin.

Fewer frets does not mean they are spaced out more.

When placing the jazz and Stingray side by side, the fret spacing seemed quite a bit bigger on the jazz especially up through the first 7 or so frets, but maybe I was trippin.

Yup. You were trippin. If you lay them down on the ground side by side and line up the nuts, you'll see that the frets are in fact, the same spacing.


*edit. The string spacing on my Pedulla is 17.5 and the neck shape is pretty similar to an SR5 albeit not as thick.

I think the neck on my dingwall reminds me more of the SR5 than anything else I've had.

I have a SR5. My dive-bar backup to it is my Yamaha BB425x. The string spacing difference (17.5 vs 18mm) is close enough, and the fretboard doesn't feel like an aircraft carrier. 5ers with string spacing 17mm or less are too tight for me.

You're missing something. 34" is 34".
