Ha haha! Excellent list! I just played Smoke on the Water at a festival last Sunday (per audience request)! We played Iron Man too!

We did not play Freebird or Stairway to Heaven though.

I've never heard a band do a decent job of covering that song. Wrong key 99+% of the time, wrong beat, wrong guitar part. It's one of those songs most people think they're too good(e) to bother learning.

Effects? Naked bass IS the effect.

This has been an eye-opener. It's very clear I'm an old guy. Of course I live in Wisconsin which is at least 10 years behind the coasts in terms of style. Mullets are still seen and Hawaiin shirts are everywhere.

What kind of hat can I wear to cover my receding hairline and not look like an old fart?
