What happened to Stewmac?

@BassNugget I see a box of tissue in the background. Hope that's just there and not out of necessity as our 15 or 16 we have around the house. We've been suffering through the flu, now my wife has Covid. There, now I really took this thread on a tangent...
Oh, we have one perpetually on the table. I have young kids and things get messy. COVID free household. Been cold-free for a few weeks as well but the wife and older kid had a cold for a bit.

Wishing y'all a speedy recovery over there!

When they drop it at your front door, they draw a picture and mail it to you.

Amazon keeps dropping packages at my neighbor's place and sending me pictures of their door. As I live in a townhouse, they look very similar, but you can, if you look hard enough, tell that it's their door. I sure hope the Pony express pictures are accurate enough to see those details.

It has been a few years since I had contacted Stewmac, and I have bought a bunch of stuff, but a tuning machine on a Breedlove acoustic bass of mine just had the shaft break off, so I dug out my old catalog and tried to order a new set of machines, but on the phone they tell me I must contact them and they will get back to me? I sent an order by mail listing the catalog number of the machines I need and gave them my card number, as my catalog is old. That was three weeks ago, I tried calling to see where my order is, but was told to contact them on their web site. Maybe there is a good alternative?
Check out Philadelphia Luthiers.
