I can get you part of the way there. I just changed necks on my p-bass. I have an A righty Mex p-neck with maple board available. Modern slim C 9.5 radius. If you got a loaded P body somewhere, that would be the package. PM me if interested.

If you haven’t picked it up already it’s an Olympic White P Bass with a black pick guard and maple neck. This is probably the coolest looking bass on the planet and I have only seen it now in:

The Fender Dee Dee Ramone signature (which goes for thousands on eBay)

That one Squire bass (which has a PJ configuration)

Matt Freeman signature Squire (nobody is aware this bass exists)

Anyone know the history behind this bass? It looks like it had its height in the 70’a and kinda faded away. And do any of you own one of these? And why can’t I find a lefty like this?
The Precision body shape is by far my favourite. The maple fretboard on the other hand, is not. I like ‘em dark. Olympic white, rosewood fretboard and tort pick guard is a very tasty look .

Allrighty...... every time I get onto TB, I start getting GAS. Nothing new for many, I know..... but I've been thinking about building a Tommy Caldwell tribute bass for several years. Well, now I've done it.... bought a set of Cream DiMarzios and just took delivery of a solid matte black PG. I now have my sights on a white Peabody (lol) and a maple neck. I haven't been into maple necks for most of my bass playing life, but I've had a change of heart. Definitely looking forward to playing my new creation. I'll post when done..... in anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 years, lol.
