What I lost in the Thomas fire

Sorry for your loss, just heartbreaking, but pales in comparison to loss of life. So we're thankful for that.

I experienced a similar thing about 24 years ago. This was a house fire that started internally. I was out of town, but Donna and the two dogs literally had to jump out of a window to escape the fire that occurred early AM. Nothing was saved. I lost a mid 50's Epiphone electric, Marathon 1x15 Jenson amp, two TNR Kustom 2x15 cabs with matching head. Shure mics and atlas stands. Never quite recover from losing that stuff, but things move. Best wishes for you and your family.

Thanks everyone. We’re all safe. We’re insured. Its just stuff, and I honestly did get the stuff I like the most. I found a cafe walter so I can practice for my upcoming gig.

There are plenty of people out there in a tough spot, we really are not. We’re very lucky. If anybody feels the urge to help, there are lots of groups working to help victims in need.

Some of the stuff that burned was really special so it makes me sad for the bass world. I wish I could have given that all away instead of having it dissapear.
