I have no idea behind this beautiful looking bass from Schecter and would love to know more about the history and specs. From what I've read so far thanks to this website Schecter Serial Number and Factory Code Lookup - Killer Rig

it's a 2003 Schecter Bass made by Cort Guitars, so I am hoping maybe someone out there knows more about this bass and it's factory specs OR have had owned this bass sometime ago that could fill me in. Thanks and enjoy the pics! :drool:

That is the top end of the imported Schecter basses. Probably made in Korea somewhere between the early 2000s and mid 2010s. C in the model name refers to the shape. They do tend to be very well made. The necks are a narrower width, kinda like a jazz bass, if I remember correctly. The neck profile is likely a little thicker and rounder, less of a C, than a Fender. Pickups are passive EMG, probably has a generic 2 band preamp (electronics are usually the weakest part of basses like this one).

It's probably a nice bass, if you like the feel, and the price is right, then go for it.

If you like it, it's a really solid bass. I also believe that one to be made in S. Korea, probably mahogany body w/ maple top. The neck is unusual, a little thick like its thinking about feeling vintage but then also flat on the back if its like the ones I've played. Id put "real" EMGs in it for sure! I would've expected the elite model to have them already, this might be a slightly older model from just before they went to full-flavor EMGS.
These are the instruments that kind of jumped the shark for Ablam binding appointments, when they came out it was a really high end feature that is now permanently associated with S. Korean imports. I dont mean that in a disparaging way at all, if you want this look this bass is pretty much your best option for it!

It’s very similar to the ESP/LTD 1000 series guitars and basses with the neck, headstock and body binding. I think both brands were made side by side in Korea so the specs are probably similar. They both cater to the same market, too.

Looks very nice. I can’t do slabs/arch tops without a tummy and arm cut though.

Yes, VERY similar to the ESP LTD 1000 series instruments. So much so I'd suspect they were made in the same factory.

Looks like a Schecter diamond series C4 custom. I remember playing one at a guitar center and it had a killer neck and great tone. I wanted to buy it but didn't have the cash at the time. Those are excellent basses.
