What Internet Browser?

A lot of good responses. Now when I started this thread of course I expected different opinions, just like with bass gear what is good for one may not be good for the next. It's personal preference and everyone's computer specs and tastes are different. I use IE9 only when I must which is not too often, I would probably use it more if not exclusively if there was a Adblock Plus type add on that worked well because IE9 does run pretty well on my machine too, but hate all the ads. However like I said I recently found Firefox to work the best on my machine whereas Chrome just seemed suddenly sluggish even after clearing the cache, etc. I enjoy checking out new software so when next versions come out I'll check them out, however for now Firefox has my use.

Lunascape. Uses all 3 major engines (trident- IE: updates when you update IE, Gecko- FF: updates occasionally as its own update, and Webkit- Safari and Chrome: also an independent engine update). Page not loading right in Trident (IE) engine?, just click on the engine button for a second or 2 to bring up the dropdown list and choose a different one. Supports most add-ons for each browser engine. Appearance/position of buttons/etc... is more customizeable than any of the big 3, and lots of downloadable themes to change appearance. It's free, and as far as I know, it doesn't spy on you.

I use Iron (yeah I'm one of the 'Chrome? better get my tinfoil hat' crowd) and Firefox in equal measure when using Windows. I only wish Firebug worked as well on Iron as it does in FF. That'd ensure I switched over to Iron completely. The Firebug extension in Chrome/Iron right now is pretty useless.

On Ubuntu I also use Qupzilla occasionally, apart from FF and Iron.
