The silver logo on the dark wood looks great, especially with the block inlays and all the chrome, but that's a Warhead headstock anyway correct? So Fender's restrictions wouldn't apply.

You as the end-user can do whatever you want, including putting a Fender logo on a Warmoth neck with a Fender headstock shape. It's when Fender trademarked items are being sold that's at issue.

Also, I think more people who buy Warmoth necks should embrace the fact that they're Warmoths and not something else.

Yes you are correct it is a warhead. I stand corrected.
The neck is roasted maple with ebony fretboard and ebony veneer on the headstock.
Sorry OP, not trying to hijack the tread.

That "stone" look on the bridge is just hammered-finish paint. It's on the control plate and back plate too. I'd play it and the Sire back-to-back before getting rid of the Sire. Nothing wrong with a parts bass, but it better play better and sound better than the sire if you're gonna pay for it.

That's what caught my eye first. So, yeah, there's the weight issue. Then the (somewhat) high-mass bridge and brass saddles. Add all three and you might have an instrument with a somewhat sterile, piano-like tone.

What do you mean sterile piano like tone? I don’t care about weight since I sit when I play and have other basses, but tone I do care about
