Update:
I bought it! For 500$ flat…. took the neck off today at the shop and couldn’t be happier to discover it is all Warmoth. With active EMG x pickups and schaller tuners and a high mass bridge (I believe it’s a gotoh bridge that has the weird gray paint over it). I believe it’s a roasted swamp ash body and birdseye maple neck with pearloid block inlays AND pearloid binding. This has got to be worth way more than I got it for.
Im about to to try and clean up the frets which look pretty bad in spots (see last photo). Other than that I am totally stoked on this thing. It looks like the fretboard and neck are coated? I can still work on the frets though right?! Anyway just had to share my local shop score and delight to discover it’s all warmoth. I feel like I scored and think it’s beautiful despite some criticism on Reddit
