what a lucky dog though to have had you find him. If I didn't have 3 rescues of my own (2 Siberian Huskies and a German Shepard) I would consider taking him...

That is an awesome looking dog. I would have a hard time giving him away if he were in my house. I will admit I got a bit misty eyed looking at him. It made me think of my two beloved labs that passed away in Dec of 2012 and my wife who joined them a couple of months later.

I would like nothing better, but I have a busy job and two young daughters to raise. I just wouldn't have any time for a dog. If my wife were still alive I am sure we would have another lab. She loved dogs as much as I do.

If you're not going to keep him, he doesn't need a name. Dogs will come to anything you call them. "C'mere" or "Here, boy" will be a suitable temporary name. If, on the other hand, you're going to keep him, I suggest you call him:
