What Is This Dog's Name?

That is a good looking dog. If you keep him too long you are sure to become attached. Then he will be called "your dog.":p

Yeah, unfortunately, we already have two rescued St. Bernards, plus a demonic little Lab/Cocker pound puppy. And once the dogs outnumber the humans in the house, you're treading dangerously close to Crazy Cat Lady territory...

BTW, have I mentioned yet that I'm allergic to dogs?

How do you plan on going about placing this animal and ensuring it ends up in a loving "forever" home?

I recommend a Craig's List ad and an interview process designed to increase the likelihood of a good adoption.

I'm in trouble, then.

We have Jazzy, Jaco, Joni, Bonnie and Pixie in the dog department.

Then we have Gracie, Buster, and Kappa in the cat-beastie department.

And my wife has a beta in the fish department.

The whole household is me, my wife, and our college aged daughter. So I'll buy the crazy part. But what do you call multiple animal-type people?

Softies. ;) Jk, I call 'em good people. :)

He looks like a Max, or a Murphy (Murf) to me. Being a Border Collie, though, it shouldn't take long ( with a little treat encouragement) for him to answer to Sam (which also suits him, IMO). Dogs don't seem to care much what their name is, as long as you're paying attention to them, and their name is linked to good things.
