It was the truss rod. A tiny turn and that squirrel is gone. Now I kind of miss it...

Yay!! Congrats! I'm happy that the fix was simple, and the initial gut reaction of a few of us was correct.

Also, now you KNOW what you've just done with your awesome video?

Basses with loose truss rods is gonna become a thing now, to get that cool effect. We'll each have one "stunt" bass and we'll all be messing with truss rods, loosening, more and more, tightening again, more and more, in search of the holy grail squirrel tone!

So when a new thread starts up about truss rod damage..... be prepared for the "but... but... RissKippery's video!!!" responses.
