Although I doubt I'll be able to afford the cirrus, I've yet to see a used 6'er go for a grand so that kind of makes the choice a little easier.. Although an old Yamaha TRB6P would be brilliant but since they are rare and sought after it is hard for me to get all gassy over them.

Wait, is GAS supposed to be the thing you seriously want and seriously will get as soon as possible, or is it the ultimate, cost-no-object, no-chance-in-hell-unless-I-win-the-lottery fantasy?

If the former:

I am GASing for a 8-string fretted neck to replace the 5-string fretless neck on my Warmoth Jazz Bass. Only thing stopping me is a potential discrepancy in neck pocket width that requires closer investigation.

If the latter:

I'm GASing for one of these. I'm sorry, I mean both of these. I just found out that George Furlinetto used to make neck-thru instruments. I think I besmirched myself when I first saw this picture --
