WHAT KIND OF BASSIST ARE YOU?

I'm starting a new club. It will be very exclusive. It is called...wait for it....

"The I'm so awesome other musicians are afraid of me and I get other bass players fired every time I play out and if you like any other bass, amp, or cab other than what I like you are uniformed and not cool like me and only my choices in music have any value and if your opinions do not coincide with mine at all times you can bite me club."

I will not be handing out any numbers as only I am worthy of this club. As I said it will be very exclusive.

P.S. Members of the spelling and grammar police may apply for henchmen positions.

That is all,
have a nice day

Can i joyn ur grup? i play base reel fast and slap lyk feeldy

;)

I am the bass player every drummer loves to perform with I am on the kick when I need to be I pick up on the fills and lock in tight and I leave room for them to shine when it is there turn in the spotlight. This makes the rhythm section sound great and in turn makes the band sound great So what kind of bass player am I? I'll give you a hint it sounds like 8 ha ha ha

I'm a bassist that's come to the point that is now in through a very unique route. I learned all the slap and fusion solo thing before I started to learn musicality and how you can put all the technical stuff into convention. I'd like to think that I'm BECOMING a versatile and musical bassist =)

I always consider myself a musician whose primary instrument is bass.

Specifically related to bass, I consider myself a melodic hard rock bass player with a metal background. I'm hesitant to call myself a "metal" bassist now even though that's how I started, because I believe I approach bass a bit differently than most metal players. My influences have become much more diverse especially in the past 10 years.

The irony is I currently play in a progressive metal band.
