Like you I've tried tons of picks. Once I got these, I never looked back!

GuitarMoose Carbon Fiber, one gauge for bass one for guitar (the .80mm are the ones I use for bass). This ended my pick quest. Takes the best parts of all the picks I tried and put them in one package.
Not a big pick user here, but when it's needed...

I use Dunlop Delrin 500s in 2.0mm.
I've tried various wooden, horn, stone or metal picks and I destroy them within an hour. Thinner Delrins are great for strumming a guitar, but for bass I prefer the solid feel of a non-flexible pick.

I don't use a pick much but when I do it's either a Dunlop Big Stubby 1mm or Felt 3mm.
Only discovered felt picjk recently and really love them.

the dunlop tortex .88 is my go-to for guitar
seems to do the job for bass as well, but i typically play with my fingers
might even prefer bumping up to 1mm
