what kind of pickup?

I recently bought my first ever bass (MIK Squier P bass) and I have NO idea what kind of pup is in it. When looking VERY closely I think I can see "Ecc" in a sort of fancy written script, but the rest is COMPLETELY faded away. Any guesses?

I couldn't tell ya. For sure, though, it looks like they're too close to the strings. I can see string grooves! Wow. Somebody's a very aggressive player as well.

Yeah, looks like a Lace Transsensor, which was the predecessor to the Alumitone (both invented by Villex).
