There is so much to see and do that you can't possibly experience even a small fraction of life in the time available. Of course there are the simple hedonistic pleasures of life that many people waste their time feeling guilty over or trying to over-intellectualize. Just enjoy it.

Listening to someone explain their point of view on a subject and you realize that you had never considered that idea before. That's a great experience.

Meeting new people who have a different idea of recreation than you do and they invite you to join them. That's invigorating.

Taking the time to immerse yourself in nature (away from our artificial constructs of civilization) and soak yourself in the raw beauty to be found there. That's truly fulfilling.
