hmmm are you even sure thats a real Fender Jazz? something about those tuning heads and esp that "fender" logo DO NOT look right to me...i would look elsewhere and plus the price they are asking is slightly insane ESP if it is a fake fender!

Yes... It attaches to a bracket on the ceiling via a chain (nickel chain for a more mellow sound, steel for more in-yer-face, gold if you play gangsta rap) thus keeping the bass up.
OK, to add a few facts: seller has a legit address in Cologne, Germany, so you could take them to court in case of fraud. Much easier, of course, if you live over here... Browsed thru their shop pages, they sell various kinds of antiquities, so I guess, they are the sort, that buy stuff from inheritances and try to sell it off at maximum prices.
Got a nice early eighties Matsumoku Washburn from such a shop myself, a year ago. At a significantly lower price tag, of course...
Agreed, that the price is ridiculously way off, and the modding is amateurish, so there should be some room for negotiations...
