OP - i think what you want to look at is...
01) how many pedals do i have?
02) how much room do i want to leave to add more?
03) am i going to need a more advanced power supply than a 1spot?
04) where am i storing it before/after/on the way to shows?
LytBoards are great because they are LIGHT, the hard cases aren't the sturdiest but they're designed to leave in the case (top comes off and the bottom is only an inch or so high). only thing i didn't love about them was the hard case was meh and there was no room for running cables underneath......
Gator and SKB make boards that have a power supply already mounted. very handy for smaller setups.
Pedaltrain to me is the big daddy, sorta standard. they come in 5 or 6 sizes, are sturdy, STURDY aluminum, have plenty of space to route cables underneath to keep things all tidy and satisfy SOME people's Pedal OCD, and are designed to fit some of the more verbose power supplies mounted underneath the board. not the lightest, but the hard cases are very strong too.
hope that helps!
