Wow, learn something new every day! Totally didnt know that about my cs7, I even wired a cable together specifically to tap into my multimeter and check draws. Guess I should read marketing/manuals more...

I like my pedaltrain2 for a board. The old PT2's have the solid back so easier to mod/add jacks, at least I tell myself that so I dont buy something newer...

I am using Strymon power supplies now. I am very impressed with them very powerful, clean and lightweight. I have a Ojai and Zuma. Soon after I bought them Strymon came out with an Ojai R30. It has 5 outlets. Two of them can run at 12 or 18v. All of them are 500 milliamps. That should power almost anything on the market. The R30 can also fit under pedaltrain nanos and metros.

Two solutions expensive power supply and or surge protector.. That wood 1x3 boards and build.. Tall Pedaltrain style board.. Put all cables underneath.. Goodluck

I have a Cioks DC5. It has 2 x 9V/12V outlets @ 300mA andI used to use it to power a valve OD. After I bought a valve head I sold the OD but still have the Cioks. It's a solide piece of kit.
