My first guess is that numbered knob is a preset bank. But there appears to be a ground lift switch on the side. Looks like there's three outs on the left so maybe a preamp? Good teaser for sure!
From what little I can see, my guess is something from Walrus or EHX. There does appear to be a good bit of I/O, so it could be either a stereo effect of some sort, or a preamp as ItsmeSantiago guessed.
I think ehx as well.

My guess, based on size and walrus not being known for using tubes, it’s going to be a boutique transformer based DI (not enough knobs for a full on preamp). Lundahl, Jennsen, or a recreation of a UTC transformer (B-15). Something like that.
I believe in the previous post where this was teased he was discussing transformer based walrus DI with neve style bottoms and API style tops. Will be interesting to see what the price tag is like. If it’s actually bumped his noble off the board it could be a great option for those of us who can’t afford one. I was also going to say wait, but judging on how the MXR launch went this may soon become unattainable too.
Yeah I talked with Ian a bit on Instagram, after watching the video I believe it’ll be called the “Mantle” and from my discussion it’s an analog bass preamp that’ll have a transformer output (maybe input) and the goal is to replicate the wide low end of a Neve and the airy tops of an API. I think two of the knobs are high and low but there is a third; the input also has a button for passive and active. DI out with a ground lift.
I think the capo is on his smaller board, I believe the original iteration of this board had the noble. Clearly I am an #imafanboy over here hahaha.
I saw him live this past fall with Eric Hutchinson and had the chance to chat with him a bit after. Super guy btw, completely genuine.

EDIT: I'm asking myself, where the naming of the pedal is coming from. He has a fireplace with mantel in his room. Might that be the reason? But then its written wrong, otherwise it would mean "cloak", but that would not be a very flattering name for a preamp / DI pedal... You want it to sound open and airy, not covered with a cloak.

Interested to know the controls and all as well; doesn't seem like gain is going to be an option outside of the passive/active input switch. Will there be a mids knob? Who knows!!?!?
Perhaps it's an Avalon-style pre with a couple extra EQ shapes available? A lot of people like it on bass, and as far as I know, no one has cloned it before.
