What Pedal/Pedals does Les Claypool use?

(here) is a search for "claypool" in the effects forum.
you may also want to ask the same question in (this thread).

searching is awesome! i think someone's posted les's gear somewhere (old and recent)... and i wish i remembered where. but searching definitely will narrow it down. sorry i can't be more helpful... but at least you have less to peruse now! :D

Hey, jetpack - Your first link didn't work.

(Big time edit to delete "search is your friend...yada, yada...". I searched for "claypool" and came up with nothing.)

Me too :ninja: ...I was all prepared to pompously announce I had quickly and easily found the answer through the use of our beloved Search function, and that all n00bs should search first... But I found nothing useful. :rolleyes: Dammit 4StringFury, you should have searched anyway!!!!

Maybe you should have searched before advising him to search. Maybe he did do a search, came up with nada, and asked the question. Just because he's a n00b doesn't mean he's an idiot. Did you ever think of that? Well, did you??!!

I'm quite shocked, actually, that there isn't more info on Claypool's toys. You'd think that someone would have gotten all geeky on it. Even a couple of Google searches gave me nothing.

Thanks for the link, jetpack. I even came up empty on that for some reason. Here's the important info...

Rig: 2 Ampeg SVT-5PRO heads, 2 Ampeg 4x10 and 2 Ampeg 1x15 cabs
Effects: MXR M-80 Bass DI +, Line 6 DM4 Distortion Modeler, Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler, Boomerang Phrase Sampler, Kork Toneworks AX3000B multi-effects unit, DBX 160a Compressor, Access Virus TI synthesizer with MIDI foot controller

WHOA!!!!!.....a senior effects forum dude has officialy said that search ISNT the answer to every question we so-called "nOObs" have.....Nothing personal, bongo.....(love your comp. reviews BTW)......but Im going to use this opportunity to rant....

1. i dont like the nickname "Noob".....I, even at a "younger" age, dont doubt that i have more experience than at least a few TBers out there.....so lets not throw that lightly....

2. If i want to start a thread....i may forget (though some of you make it hard to) to search...or i may get tired of sifting after page 2,524...;) .....so im gonna do it.....therefore the first 10 posts on every new thread being some dude ranting about searching DOES NOT help anybody......

3.ummm.....ok...im done now...as you were effects people.....as you were...

The VERY first thread I opened on TB.....A guy was asking a phaser question or whatever.....I say to myself "I want to know more!".....(scroll down)...and....
BOOM...

The second post is someone (to remain unamed) saying that..."The best pedal is the SEARCH PEDAL"...and carries on effectivly slapping Dude #1 in the face for a full paragraph.....at that moment i wondered why did i even bother......and everytime i open a thread like this....i still do....
