What pedals do I need?

I think the TU-2 is fine. Others say it sucks. The SansAmp might be a good choice for you.

I agree the Visual Sound Liquid Chorus is really nice.

a chorus pedal will definitely fit the music style you play. I would recommend the danelectro chorus pedals(either the fab chorus or the new cool cat chorus) if you want a smooth retro chorus sound at an affordable price.

Peterson Strobostomp = DI + Tuner in 1 pedal. Most people who own 'em love 'em.

Never tried one myself, I use a Korg PitchBlack (as do many others on here).

the TU-2 is fine and a great way to get a buffer at the start of your chain

apparently a TU-3 is forthcoming so maybe they will be getting cheaper
