What pedals should I use for Blues(if any)

I use a compressor to smooth things out. Also a small amount of chorus sounds nice on the slow stuff. A little reverb helps too if you're in a really dry room. But be careful with that reverb on the bass man. A little bit goes a long way! I also use an EQ pedal to boost the low-mids and mids.

I'd recommend those pedals above and then fool around with'em until you find a sound you like. I run the compressor last in the chain. I'm sure others will have more in depth recommendations they can offer. I keep my setup really simple.

Not a big effects pedal fan. A bit of compression or maybe a tube emulator if you use a SS amp and it sounds a bit too sterile for your liking. Chicago Mike may have hit on something. The more your band is a pure blues band as opposed to a blues-rock band the less over the top effects will sound right.

It really depends on what kind of blues you're playing. I've been doing blues gigs for many years. If you're just starting to use effects in a blues scenario, I'd say get a Tubescreamer of some sort. An Ibanez TS9DX would work, and you can always upgrade that with an Analogman mod if you desire later. That'll give you the midrange scratch you'll need to step out when you want to do that.

I play psychedelic blues rock, among other things, and I already have an SG Bass and a Marshall tube amp so all I'm using now is a Bass wah, a tremolo pedal, a clean booster, and a tuner.

for blues, keep it simple...a little light overdrive, maybe an occasional envelope filter in the funky songs, some ring modulation and fuzz for the solos, an analog delay that will self-oscillate so you can make wild siren sounds, maybe a valnott.

I play in a blues/rock band. We play mostly covers, but we jam quite a bit.

I love effects. In rehearsal/practice I tend to tinker with effects. Octave, Overdrive, Filter, Limiter. This sometimes drives the creative process and we jam on something fun.

In performance, I tend to leave most of my effects off. Overdrive on a few songs if needed. If we are playing some funk the others might come out. If I end up playing a solo or something I might kick the filter in. People love that.

Depends on how traditional the band is, for most a nice thick pulsing bass is all that's needed or allowed and others you can be more expressive. For my blues trio gig it's pretty much anything i want to throw down but we are very broad based and do everything from super traditional arrangements, to Hendrix, SRV and beyond.

I don't think you need to have a chorus pedal.

If your bass and amp alone sound inadequate for whatever style of blues you're playing, then maybe you'll want to look at making some sort of basic change there, instead of trying pedals. Most blues sounds pretty good with a "traditional" sounding bass, no pedals required.
