What pickguard colour with this body.?

If the guard holes are filled, I’d let it ride, but I’m partial to dark blue so my bias is definitely influencing my opinion.

If a guard was an inevitable conclusion, I’d find the whitest MOTS guard obtainable. I had a dark blue bass with a snow white MOTS guard and wifey said it looked like sex on a stick.

OK so if there is NO tone control plate....then NO PICKGUARD, and especially with that shade of blue...

After about eight years of playing my Warmoth Jazz, the one currently in my avatar, it has developed a haze in the gloss black finish where my picking/plucking fingers and fingernails have been in contact. It's obviously used, and obviously worn, but it's cool in a way that relic'd basses never can be IMO.
