What Strap Do You USe?

Does anyone have a suede strap? I'm wondering if they are better or worse than the regular leather?

I use a suede one on my main bass and I love it! I have also used a leather one on my bf's bass and it is well broke in and really liked that too.
The other basses got the nylon ones on it, and I don't like it that much cause it tends to slip more and it aggravates me when it does that. Only time it doesn't slip is when I have a tank top on and it rests on my bare skin.

I use the "Y" strap by Michele Morin.

It hooks over both shoulders, which evenly distributes the weight of the bass. Let's me wear a bass for hours with no stress. I've used it for many years - can't think of how I could live without it. Before I endured pain from overburdening one shoulder. No more! Check it out...

That looks interesting. I wish the website had more pictures. The one they show for the sample looks really thin and narrow.

I have the Levys Boot leather padded straps (not super wide) and they work fine. I've got an old one that has suede ends and a woven cotton middle that is really great too. I don't like them too wide or stretchy. I like my bass to feel anchored.

I use an Onori strap. I saw it on the rack at SamAsh and I didn't have anything other than a 1.5" Ernie Ball strap of my dad's for guitar, so I got it. It was about $38, but i get $28 cause they just gave us random discounts. (We got my GK Amp, my brother's drum set + a few hardware packs & A cymbal pack, and my dad got his Bogner Tube Line 6 Spider Valve 212.. Huge commissions..)

Back on topic, it's a great strap. Pretty cheap, two holes for low-wear and high wear, as well as adjustable length, as it's in two parts with holes every inch or so you can weave them in between. It's also cushioned, and looks like granite stone on the outside! It's really cool. :D

I just got a Neotech Mega Bass. The strap is good but too short for me....I'm a big guy. Looking for recommendations for a very long, wide strap that won't put me in the poorhouse but will help alleviate my shoulder pain.
