What Strap Do You USe?

I just posted this on another thread...but now its for a different reason! I only use the Levys Kokopelli leather straps. I just ordered another one for my other Wick. Different color though. They cost around 50 bucks, and they are great. I also have a thing for kokopelli!

I got one of those that I use with my lighter swamp ash bodied basses...for the heaviers I use a Comfort Strapp (short)... Great strap. Also had a Sadowsky short Neoprene that was great but sold cause I had the CS....

If only one, it would have to be the Comfort Strapp...

Thanks. Actually, I ordered a very nice (and very expensive) Levy's MSS90 leather bass strap for it recently. When I received it, the color was nothing like it was on the website. It clashed with the bass, so I returned it and bought a few sets of Chromes instead. Figured I'd just use that old suede Levy's on it because it comes close to matching (at least from a distance).

I tell you all this because that padded leather strap was very comfortable. It's the only one I've found that rivaled the Comfort Strapp in terms of, well, comfort! But it would have cost twice what the Comfort Strapps sell for, so I'm sticking with them. (I have six of them!) :D

Amazon has sales on Levy's straps all the time which is kind of why I asked. Was that where you ordered it from?

Anyone know what strap this is? It looks ultra comfy, but I can't make out the logo.
I do remember reading that he uses Levy straps, but I can't find this one on the website.

No. I tried to get the folks at my local G.C. to order it, but I quickly realized that they weren't going to follow up after attempting one unsuccessful phone call.

So I got the guys at The Perfect Bass to order it for me. They gave me a pretty good price (compared to the list price from Levys). If it had been the right color, I'd have definitely kept it, because it WAS comfortable. If you decide to go that route, definitely consider the MSS90. You can check them out on the Levys website.

Only a Comfort Strapp now. I used to manage a guitar store and I've go a milk crate full of straps. Cheap ones, expensive ones, sheep-skin padded leather, suede, neoprene, inlfatable (yep, I have one of those D'Addario "Air Straps"), etc. etc. For my basses, the only ones I use are the three Comfort Strapps I bought around 1999.
