I re-started out with a Behringer BX3000 and evolved up to running a Mesa Boogie BB750 througha Carvin BR810, for practice I have a MM HD130 all tube head and a 2 X 12" cabinet. Soon for auditions a CArvin Combo amp.
My rigs through the ages:
1. Peavey Micro Bass
2. 80s Roland Bass Cube 60
3. Trace Elliot Boxer 65 + Roland Bass Cube (both run at once, gigged that way)
4. Eden WT-600 + Bag End D12-D
5. Traynor Bassmaster YBA-1 + Bag End D12-D

My first amp/combo was an Ampeg SVT-15T (still own it), switched to a Hartke 3500 (still have those) and now I am channeling my sounds through a Warwick Quad IV
First amp: 74 Montgomery Ward solid state amp with 3 inputs labeled guitar, bass, keys. Not a great amp, but did the job.
Now: Markbass 12" Mini combo with B-15N, Little Mark II head, 1966 Ampeg B-15N about to be shipped to Jess Oliver for an extensive restoration, 1969 Ampeg SVT head currently in shop and cab getting speakers reconed, 2002 SWR SM-500 (currently available for sale...make offer), early 90's Ampeg SVT 3 Pro, Tube Works 4-10".

1st gigging amp - Carlsbro viper 1x15 100w combo
2nd gigging amp - Marshall IBC (3230) 300w head and Marshall VBC 4x12 cab i really miss this setup
Currently - Trace Elliot AH300-12 Head with a Trace Elliot 2103H cab coming in at the end of the month, followed by a Trace 4x10 if i can find one at the right price

First amp? Was an 8 watt w/ 8" speaker I don't remember the name combo amp. See my signature for my latest setup.
My first amp was an Aims tube head with a 1x15 cabinet. Not sure what happened to the cab. It went on to amplify my Taurus pedals when I got a Sunn Concert head and two homemade 1x15 cabs. You can see it all in this pic.
THEN - 1967 Vox Essex Model V1043. 2x12" and 50 watts. I still own this amp.

My first amp was a little multivox combo amp that I found in some guys basement. It had horrible sound had a reverb knob but the springs were broken or something so it didn't work. It was a sad amp, but it was kind of cool in it's "little engine that could" kind of way.
It was good enough for practicing and jamming with my friends in high school

First amp, was a Peavey Raptor 156 guitar amp, when i started playing bass i used that amp.
Peavey Firebass + 4x10 was my first bass amp.
Now using an Ampeg SVT-II into a Marshall VBC810 and/or Peavey 215 D BW

first bass amp I owned was a late 60's silverface Fender Bassman 50 head slapped into a homemade chipboard housing (I bought the amp chassis bare, with no tubes and missing the original output transformer, for $25) feeding an early 70's Fender Dual Showman cabinet covered in black & white snakeskin vinyl, loaded with two JBL D140 15" speakers.
Regardless of what I own now, I sometimes think it never got any better than that!
