I had a brown and white Kay in 1966. When it blew I goat a new Vox which blew three times the first month. I traded it for a big old Sunn with two 18's and a ton of power for the late 60's.

My first amp was a Ampeg Reverb Rocket II LMFAO it had guitar and accordian inputs, to funny I still have my first bass but the amp is long gone.
1974 had this thing called a "GEM M bass 30", it was an Italian flip top copy...only 30 watts and a single 12". Distorted after it got hot!
A West 100 watt tube amp with (2) 15" West cabs. Used a Mole Booster for a preamp to boost the power. The band always said that I needed to be louder so one day I showed up with my SVT with (2) 8x10 cabs. They never complained again. This was around 1975...I think!?!?!?
A Premiere, don't kbnow how old it was, but I got in 1965. One 12, two inputs- bass and accordian.

A "Lawrence" bass amp, back in about 1973. Cost almost twice as much as my EB-3. Handwired solid-state. It had two 15" speakers in a monstrous black ABS cabinet, and a flip-up lighted preamp component that attached to the power amp in the bottom of the cabinet by way of an external coil cord. I don't know how many watts it was, but it was loud enough for all the bands I played in back then.
1971 Univox w/15", about 35watts, I was the cat's ass 'cause it was piggy back. Cost $115.
1973 Fender bassman 50 w/2-15's, cost $250.
Then I got serious and "bought" a used acoustic 360,
I think the deal was about $100 and my bassman-- the owner was getting old (close to 30), and needed to down size.

Concordia. Got it in 1966.
Horrible thing. Made in America,though. Two twelves & probably about 30 watts. It was a combo amp with some silver sparkles in the fake Tolex. The amplifier section wasn't much bigger than a table radio.I knew it was crap within the
1st week of owning it! I had to use a Vox bass booster to coax some warmth out of it.
I never saw another Concordia amp anywhere but for my 50th birthday an old friend found one and presented it to me.
My 2nd amp was a Hilgen piggy back tube Bassman knockoff.
They were a no frills solidly built amp that was pretty popular in my neck of the woods. Probably no more that 30 watts but at least the tone was decent. The Hilgen single 15 bass amp was a pretty decent poor man's B-15. Every now & then I'll go on an amplifier forum & some one will ask if anybody knows about Hilgen .
I had both of these Hilgen amps & used them together for a whopping 60 watts of power! The tone (with a 60's Japanese "Kingston" bass) wasn't bad! Two 12's & one 15!

2 year old '62 White Tolex Fender Bassman - sweet sound, but waayyyy underpowered for gigs, so I upgraded to a new blackface '65 Showman (2x15 JBL) which was the coolest thing going back then. (Still have my '65 white tolex Showman head though)
My first was a Fender Bassman head. I bought it used around about 1974. I don't recall every having problems with it, but I kept it less than a year and then bought an Acoustic 150B head. I wish I still had the Fender.
Back in 74 I had this pre-CBS Fender Bassman witha 6-10 Trainer cabinet...I remember I used to crank that sucker up with my Fender Musicmaster and get these killer feedbacks and play some really psychedelic stuff. I miss that rig.
