Chalk up another for the Epiphone Accu Bass. It's still my only bass but I will never part with it. It NEVER goes out of tune. I hav tuned it once sinc I strung it with flats. It is also a very versatile bass for me. I just got back from a friends where we were jamming out country all night long (I hat country.). I also found out I am a great country bassist.... Pardon me while I go vomit.
ibanez gsr 190 jumpt start kit. came with of course the pos ibanez gsr, a 10 watt ibanez amp which i latter sold for 75 dollars, little crappy tuner that i also sold for around 5 dollars i think, crappy little nylon strap, crappy little cable, and of course 2 crappy bass lesson videos from some guy that should stay indoors and avoid all public situations. still have the bass though, kind of been thinking about turning it into either and fretless, humbucking, active, whamy-bar, franken-bass or just throwing it into a bon fire.

A red Westone with that Jackson 80s metal-type headstock and a bad pickup with a P pickup disguised in a pseudo soapbar housing.
The body wasn`t even solid wood, just laminated.
And it sounded like that.

I have the same type!! I like the green...though mine now has a Joker playing card and various song lyrics stuck to it....and one of those fluffy little face things that you get from fairs...and the pickguard has long since been grafitti'd by Abigail...but besides that it's the same!
mine was a 1979 fender p-bass, natural finish, rosewood fingerboard. still have that bass and played it in all my bands. only modifications have been needing to rebuild part of the bridge (replacement of screws and springs in saddle), and adding a dimarzio strap-lock.

Epiphone, way back before they made copies of other basses (around 1970). A few months later, I bought an old Precision (stolen). I loved that bass (the Precision) and it would be worth big money these days.
My first bass... is ( i still use it) a Squier Affinity P Bass
. I got it with the package..it came with everything.. right down to the picks and video! 
It was on sale for $600 (Canadian) including everything. I paid $200 towards it.. that took me forvere to earn.. and my parents paid the rest as an early X-Mas present.

It plays alright, needs new strings. Its a classic.

1991 Warwick Dolphin Pro 1 4 strings, the first ones that ever came out. Saved my money for almost a year, and everybody was looking at the rookie with the weird bass shape. It was funny!

Torch 4-string. Bought it for AU$250 including a 25w Coronet bass amp 10 years or more ago. Exchanged the Torch for a Samick short-scale 4 a few months later. Still have my first bass amp.
Aria Pro II Integra IGB-50DX. I'm still playing it after 10 years, with upgraded Bartolini pickups.
Ibanex GSR200. Not bad as far as peices of crap go. My only beef with it after all this time is that the 6th fret is a little high on the G string, and that the thing was not ment to be tuned C#DGF (or whatever the whole thing droped down a step and a half is)
